Bike computer · iPhone & Android

Your phone is the bike computer. Ride on.

RideON records rides as accurately as popular dedicated bike computers, follows your routes with turn-by-turn directions and climb alerts, and talks to your heart rate strap, power meter and rear radar. No head unit to buy.

Recording

Numbers you can trust, even when the phone can't.

RideON was tuned on real rides against a dedicated head unit. GPS jitter, barometer noise and the app being killed mid-ride are all handled.

0.4%

Distance, against a popular dedicated bike computer

On a 54 km ride. A lightly smoothed GPS track stops position jitter from adding metres.

2m

Barometric climbing threshold

Elevation gain comes from the phone's barometer, smoothed over about 3 seconds and calibrated slowly against GPS.

everyfix

Saved as it arrives

Each GPS point is written to storage straight away. If the app is closed mid-ride, the ride is restored and recording carries on.

Sensors

Pair the gear you already ride with.

Standard Bluetooth heart rate, power and speed/cadence sensors connect in seconds and reconnect on their own, even with the screen locked.

  • Garmin Varia rear radar: cars behind shown as dots, with a buzz when one appears and when the road clears
  • Power read the way popular dedicated bike computers do, dropping to zero when you stop pedalling
  • Heart rate and power zones from your max HR and FTP, with W/kg and calories
  • A clear status when a sensor stops sending, instead of a silent dropout

Built for the bars

Made to be used with gloves on, in the rain, at 40 km/h.

Lock the ride screen so water can't turn pages or press Finish. Unlock with a deliberate hold or swipe.

Settings → Rain mode

Voice commands

"How far to go?" "Next turn?" "Lap." Ask about speed, power, sunset or battery and hear the answer.

Settings → Voice commands

One big pad replaces the small buttons. A tap or a swipe in any direction runs the action you choose.

Settings → Gesture pad

Bell

A brass bicycle bell through the phone's speaker, even on silent, mixed over your music.

Settings → Bell

Night and battery

Dim the screen for night riding, and see battery time left based on how your past rides drained it.

Settings → Battery use

Weather and music

Wind for you says headwind or tailwind. A music page shows the song with big skip buttons.

Offline & export

No signal needed. Your rides stay yours.

Nothing in a ride needs the internet except the map background and weather. Save a route's map before you leave, ride, then export the file wherever you keep your training.

  • Offline maps saved along your route, 1.5 km either side
  • Step-by-step help for uploading to Strava and Garmin Connect
  • Share routes as GPX, with your marked points, to another RideON or any app

Leave the head unit at home.
